If you have credit card expenses in a CSV file, you can directly upload that to ProcureDesk. You can use this feature to upload expenses for all users at one time.
Step by Step process:
1. Log in to ProcureDesk and navigate to the Expenses module.
2. Click on Actions -> Upload transactions
3. Browse or Drag and Drop the file that contains transactions into ProcureDesk.
4. Map the respective fields and click on "Submit" to upload the expenses.
Definition of fields
The following fields are available for mapping
Name *: Map this field to the name of the expense report. If you don't have an expense name, then map it to the name of the user.
Amount *: This is the line amount for the expense.
Vendor/Merchant: Vendor name from the transaction. If no name is available, leave it blank and map it later in the system.
Category: If you are using Expense categories in ProcureDesk, then map it to the respective field in your file. Otherwise, leave it blank.
Account/Card Number *: This is the account number that is mapped in the user profile. You must have this field mapped to import the data to the right account. See how to map a card number to a user.
Transaction date/Posting Date *: The date of the transaction, you could map it to the posting date or transaction date.
Description *: Use this field to import the line item description
Project code: Use this field to import project codes.
