How to Release an Inventory Order

An Inventory clerk or authorized person can release the inventory to the end-users.

Inventory can be released against an Inventory order or can be directly released against directly from the Inventory module. 

To release inventory stock from an order

1. Go to Inventory section and click on the order tab

2. Click on the order # to open the order and under Actions, click on "Create Release"

3. Enter the release information and click on Submit to release the stock from Inventory. The system would automatically reduce the on-hand quantity based on the released quantity.
